This dagger is being offered to me. Since I have no experience on damast luftwaffe blades I would like to hear some opinions. I hope some of you guys can help me out.

What I can see from the pics does look to me beeing an etched damast blade, NO real damast blade. Due to the "Gonzo" eagle I would be very, very careful with this dagger....

Danny,
seems to be etched Damascus, from the pics this is not folded steel.
Etched Damascus blades existed during the TR, but I have some doubts about that blade.
Can't judge the inscription, I'm a navy guy, but as Wotan mentioned, the eagle doesn't look right.

Thanks for your help guys! I had my doubts about the eagle too. It looks just like the ones seen on fake etched luftwaffe 2nd model daggers. I will pass on this one.
