This dagger is being offered to me. Since I have no experience on damast luftwaffe blades I would like to hear some opinions. I hope some of you guys can help me out.

What I can see from the pics does look to me beeing an etched damast blade, NO real damast blade. Due to the "Gonzo" eagle I would be very, very careful with this dagger.... Regards,

Danny,
seems to be etched Damascus, from the pics this is not folded steel. Etched Damascus blades existed during the TR, but I have some doubts about that blade. Can't judge the inscription, I'm a navy guy, but as Wotan mentioned, the eagle doesn't look right.

Thanks for your help guys! I had my doubts about the eagle too. It looks just like the ones seen on fake etched luftwaffe 2nd model daggers. I will pass on this one.
