Gentlemen, usually I'm far from being a minty guy. But I could not resist to purchase this item. Seems this one rested 70yrs in a cabinet, it is virtually unworn. Late WKC, nice gild still present. Killer blade. I'm a little bit uncertain because of the Portepee. It seems like discoloured Aluminium instead of Perlon, for sure originally tied to that piece. The discoloration could come from light or maybe nicotin, I'm not sure. i've never seen such a color on an Aluminium Portepee. Hope you guys like it. Best; Flyingdutchman

Simply wonderful. A rare treat these days. Crisply etched blade is really a beauty.

Hermann,
an amazing dagger you show here. It's a better WKC dagger from all, that I've ever seen. A nice catch! Congrats.
Best regards, Oleg.

Hermann, that's a fantastic piece! The best WKC navy dagger I've ever seen! I would not hesitate for one second if I got the chance to buy a dagger like this. Congretulations on this find.

Gentlemen,
great you like it. As said, I prefer the ones with the has been there look, but it's in the collection now.
To underline that collectors of these daggers are true Gentlemen I have to say that I've received a few pm's and emails pointing out the fact that the hanging straps are not properly attached. This is something I have to fix, of course, but I did not realized it. Maybe I'm becoming old. ;-)
Thanks to you all and happy collecting!
Best; Hermann
