I have been emailed this photo from a member wanting to know my opinion. The ring is being offered in a auction here in the US and is starting to go for some money. The potential bidder is tempted but is asking 1st [good thing!]. In my opinion this is a old fake. Not really a reproduction as there are no known authentic examples of the pattern. So not a fake but a fantasy ring,,best thing I would advise would be to let someone else bid on that one  ...

This ones are around a lot of years.
I think the first i saw was in the 70ies.
If i remember right i have somewhere on of these without the eagles on the shoulders.
