Finally got these two I have searched for quite some time. Especially the 1712 (lower grades) is a rare beast to catch. It is a MICHOVIUS piece, the 1713 interestingly not. The 1713 came with all it´s proper accouterment out of a household. Has pure ivory grip halves. The 1713 is not rare but here condition often is the problem. Regards,

Wooten, Two wonderful cutlasses. The stag grip piece is aS sharp as they could come. The blades are great. Thanks for the showing. Sincerely HUBERTUS

Wotan
Wonderful examples of a great pair of Eickhorn hirschfänger, I was lucky enough to find a Stag grip piece first and had to wait to find a minty higher grade later, those two rival the best I have ever seen.
Congratulations on adding these two to your stunning collection.

Dear collector friends, thank you for your interest and your kind comments. I am sure -and sometimes we have seen already- that in your collections equal and better specimen are sleeping. Feel free to post them here, it is always a pleasure to see them, can´t get enough. Forgot to mention that both daggers have the EICKHORN 35-41 mark. @Paul, I don´t have so much EICKHORN daggers. But specialized on EICKHORN hunting and forestry daggers, following the Kundendienst, our experienced member JohnZ has already started a wonderful thread. See http://phpstack-500133-1583587.cloudwaysapps.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=251580#Post251580 . Regards,
