Wes:
There's alway a healthy dose of skepticism when something like this surfaces. You best bet is to run it by Frederick Stephens, who is an authority on etches, and get his opinion. I am going to withhold mine for now but I suspect it's similiar to Mike Ms.

Wes these dedications are a maze in which you can get lost forever, then stagger out bankrupt. I avoid them completely. Mike

Excellent words to live by. Also, if Mike Mac won't touch them, you shouldn't either Smile

Red flag to me is why is it only $100 more than a very desirable transitional dagger with a $120 hanger rig to boot.Puma every time no contest IMO

I on the other hand think a in hand would be the best way to approach this.Just because mike will not buy them does not make every one a fake.If you can tell from pics your pretty dang good. There are alot of of personal dedacations done on daggers so we must not rule them out yet. just my two cents.

ok well i should clear up that the honor blade for nine hundred is just the blade and not the whole dagger to my understanding. and the puma transitional is complete for eight hundred.he has sent me emails from both toms ,wittman and johnson who agree that the blade dedication maybe alright but they need to inspect in hand first before giving a final ok.

As Adam wrote, it is obviously a computer font. Honestly, do you really believe, that someone sell it for 900$...and for twice? As I wrote, this dagger has been for sale on market few months later...and now here it is again...save your money.

Lukas.

The cross guards are differing the upper looks solid nickel and the lower looks to be plated. It looks to be "parts" dagger but I will not comment on the blade. I would like to see a close up of the inscription. The 3pc hanger looks nice,,from here. Best Larry

It is a nice blade, but the continuous "In and Out" is not doing it any justice. I like the RZM logo, I have one like that on a Mid period NSKK

Theres no way this is a Christmas dagger. Look at the lettering in the motto and besides that this blade is a transitional. To my understanding Christmas daggers were the very first ones that were issued to high ranking officers back in 33. No dagger had RZM markings during that time period. JMHO. Cheers, Raul.
