I don't like the blade. The trademark and motto are too perfect. The dedication font is like no other I have seen and is also too perfect. The "CAH" tang mark is strange.
Reverse crossguard shows signs of sanding?
SA vertical hangers are always hard to judge since there is no established pattern, but I have not seen one with that type of leather.
Not for me.

IMHO I'm not particular to it either. The motto has a glossy look like it has been filled in with a Sharpie marker. TM appears modern lasered, lacking that characteristic roughness of an acid etch. Bubble gum dedication looks like too much fun went into it . I've also observed a few Weltersbachs and the handle doesn't conform. Something odd about the scabbard fittings as well, especially the shape of the scabbard ball. Compare it to this great one Tom Wittmann has on his website: http://www.wwiidaggers.com/33505.htmDYODD

I think this is a parts dagger embellished with a poorly done fantasy dedication using a modern gothic font.

the maker mark looks too good- exam under 100-200 magnification should reveal laser smoothness-Mike

thanks a lot guys...
I noticed that the TM was indeed to smooth to be not lasered but I never ever saw the etching/dedication before...
that's why I posted this...
thanks for the opinions and saving me some good money!
