By the way Herman, do you know Andre van de Wynkel?
Daar heb ik in het verleden een aantal dolken van gekocht...

Hello Jerry,

Yes, I know Andre very wel: I saw him just yesterday at a show!

He is one of the best known Belgian dealers and sometimes has great stuff for sale.

Best regards,

Herman

It's a small world Herman!
When I visited him last (this was probably in 1999), he was finishing his upstairs showcases and he had just purchased a beautiful justice official's sword...
At that time I bought a mint (aluminum) Eickhorn Landzoll with all acoutrements.
Also a minty unissued double marked RZM/Zwillingswerk NSKK '33 with factory tag around the grip.
These are treasures I still own. Please say hello for me, I'm sure he'll remember! I was living near Bergen op Zoom in Netherlands (just above Antwerp) at the time. Used to visit the Antwerp Show on Sundays and also the one in Arlon. Those were the days!!
I live a little further away now, so I can't come over to visit as much as I would like...
Thank you Herman.
