Luca,
That one is pretty much dead. The top strap will break soon and the clip will probably tear away. The belt loop looks better. I would not buy it.

John,
That much? What would the same hanger sell for in great condition?

I don't think it's worth more than $200. I agree with Dave. The hanger is in very rough shape..why buy it in the first place? In my opinion, save your money and get a nice conditioned one when you can afford it. I don't believe this one adds any value or appeal to an SS dagger because of it's very poor condition. It's not going to get any better but it will continue to deteriorate.

The first example is not that bad....it has some +++ it is complete with original small buckle and is SS marked. Often the retaining buckles have been replaced. Examples not SS marked sell for between $200 and $300 dependent upon condition. If the leather is sound on this example and not to the point that it is deteriorating and falling apart then it is perfect for a non mint or saltier conditioned dagger. Worth about $275 to $300 IMO...The other example posted would be worth $400 to $600 IMO unfortunately there is a broad range on these...better conditioned, well marked examples bring the higher prices and sell more quickly. These are prices that the market would bear IMO.. Thanks for posting, cheers and regards, Ryan

Be careful of that second one. That style has been copied.
With that particular one I see:
- No stitching at the bottom - New looking leather and stamping - New buckle
The clip is probably real and the belt loop looks good
