Did the dagger come with a blade, or just the scabbard, grip, and crossguards? :))) perhaps a maker marked blade?

It looks like a typical, authentic "Type II" M36.

Looks like an honest M36 IMO . Scabbard was likely repainted at some point as this vintage dagger generally sported an anodised scabbard and also has a 2 screw ramp which is usually associated with an anodised scabbard . I could be wrong as the paint looks pretty old/original . Nice dagger .
