Thought I would show this outstanding bringback FJ helmet and pic of LT with it in war!
I had bought from son yrs ago and wanted to share with collectors!
Its also named inside helmet but hard to read all!
Being D-day today I thought it would be fitting to share!
Anyone have something to share or show?

Better than what my mother did into the garbage. My father's cousin sent back items to my sisters n my father. One prize was an Army officer visor it sat on top of a cabinet. One day it was gone into the dumps in The Bronx

Pvon, that pose of the guy with a shoulder holstered .45 reminds me of a group of photos I got of a member of CIC in post-war Germany. That coupled with his ID which is dated October 1945. Reading his Certificate of Service, I am amazed to see the European ribbons, plus the Asiatic-Pacific and Phillipine Liberation ribbons. That guy got around.
