From the first view the ring looks typical made.
But: Never saw this stamp "sterling" and "silver" in a period made german item. If sterling silver there is used the german word "silber".
And never saw a sterling silver made german period made ring. Also i think the band on the oposite of the plate is a little to thick.

A ring with questions for me confused
Maybe brithish or american?
If i rememebr right i have seen this pattern times ago but i don`t know where.

I once asked Gaspare about this pattern. He answered, that this is an old pattern, Husar, Freikorps. The fakes have mushy weak backplates. Your rings looks good and well made. Could this be imported silver, prewar time ???
