Ran across these pics from 2006 Max show and with new resizing we can enjoy old shows of past and pics for collectors to look at!
Wayne the man with engraved bayonet book was at this show with beauties!
Look for wayne at the shows!
I know John Z is now big into these now!
Easy to see why collectors collect these!
Show us yours and maybe tell us about rare or hard to find ones!
Ones you want and why you like them
And thats dust showing on blades! They were mint!!!!
Sorry about standards showing up! OOOPS!!!

One of the harder to find etches in Wayne's book is the Eickhorn Panzer etch, the 3222 pattern in their catalogue.
I am lucky enough to own three of this pattern, all short blades.
One is a short stag gripped single etch, one is a short stag gripped double etch, dedication ot Anti Tank Unit 5 and the last one is also a double etched, short blade dedicated to Panzer Unit 24. This last one is a 2013 SOS find and is a very rare example of an etch dedication to a Panzer unit.

JC:
I love that Tiger! Beautiful rig.
I have three Eickhorn pommel etches, one of which is not listed in their catalogue.
The Eagle and the Crossed Rifles are listed, the Gulls is not. This last one was a walk in to one of the shows ... it came to Tom Wittman, who tracked me down and got me in touch with the seller.

John John, Here is a picture of the one I bought directly from a vet in the early 1970's. I have long forgotten who I sold it to. I wonder if these are two pictures of the same bayonet???
