I am looking to keep daggers on their hangers and hang on a wall display. what is the best way to clean the daggers?
would hanging them place too much stress on them?
thanks for your advice

I wouldn't display them hanging with the hangers as this will definitely compromise the material and or the leather which they are made of.

What you can do is hang the dagger with the hangers, but not using the hangers to support the dagger. You can easily support the dagger through one of the scabbard rings (using some type of plastic or other non ferous metal). Then use a seperate support for the hangers so they are attached to the dagger but there is no weight or other stress on them.

I even do this with chain hangers.

Very good idea, as that's what I'd do.
