A test gallery for the military including both collar tabs and shoulder boards. The link is HERE . Again, corrections and comments appreciated. The Wehrmachtbeamte and Sonderfuhrer sections are the best I could do in translating the regulations and matching them to the photos I have. If you see any errors, please let me know so we can correct the gallery.

Ok

Your Wehrmacht Beamte is incorrect

They were not rated by pay levels but by education levels:

High Grade career – hoherer Dienst; A university degree was required;
Elevated career – gehobener mittlerer Dienst or gehobener Dienst; an educational level between high school and college, with an additional two to three years of practical training was required
Medium career – einfacher mittlerer Dienst or mittlerer Dienst; a high school diploma and an apprenticeship of a trade was required
Lower career – unterer Dienst or einfacher Dienst; a grade school education without any further qualification was required

Insofar as the examples.

The first one is correct though for the hoherer Dienst instead of pay level 1

The second example is correct for the gehobener Dienst but not for the mittlerer Dienst as they had a different size (smaller) collar tab. See attached photo.

The third example has nothing to do with the HV. The einfacher Dienst tab was designed the same as any other HV tab having the Nebenfarbe cord cover the three sides of the tab.

For the most part the boards do not correspond to any specific career level unless you are talking about Unteroffizier careers. You could have a Leutnant (2 Lt)in the hoherer Dienst as a Pharmacist.

Beamte auf Kriegsdaur used the same career nomenclature as the regular HV, there was no post group Z etc.

Your Wehrmachtbeamte auf Kriegsdauer Level G, NCO equivalent are actually Sonderführer tabs.

You have a dogs breakfast amongst the Schulterschnüre, some are label correctly and some are not. The last three boards are Sonderführer boards as per the 1940 regulations.

Happy Thanksgiving
Larry

Updated the Wehrmacht Beamte and Luftwaffe Beamte. Started going back over the insignia for the Sonderfuhrer and Wehrmachtbeamte auf Kriegsdauer. Comments/corrections appreciated wink

Added Luftwaffeingenieur auf Kriegsdauer, Luftwaffeingenieur der Reserve, and expanded the Luftwaffeingenieur collar tabs and shoulder boards.
