Hello !

I get this pics from one old collector.
Would you be so nice and write me some opinions about this dagger ?
Is this original or post war made dagger ?

Thank you for help in advance!

Best Regards

Mark

I have not seen a swastika shaped like that before. You will need more and better photos for a good answer.

... post-war, for sure. Swas with that eagle could be probably WKC pre'45, but impossible for me to say from these more than indistinct pics, things would be way more easier w/ better photos. However, this is not the real McCoy.
Sorry.
Best regards;
Hermann

As well as the scabbard bands, looks to be one piece.

Mark,

sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there was no blade etching during WW2 in existence with the Laboe monument etched to the blade. They are all postwar, from time to time bought by veterans during their meetings.

Sorry again.
