Still as envious now as I was at the show, great dagger Tom and a worthy addition to your collection.

Congrats Tom, This is a great piece with a unique scabbard too! The bands are ones that I haven't seen with this guard before, is it steel or brass based? Voos really was a maker that sourced its fittings from more different makers than any other maker I know of(and all in the earlier years of production!)The guard is a very nice example of this rare type with the wing feathering and smaller proportions. Can't wait to see what you dig up next!! Kevin.
It's ALL in the DETAILS!!.......

Nice tom!
That blade looks super! Just don't see the special ones that much!
You got good eyes to spot this at SOS that early!

Wim & PVON- Thank you Sirs ! Gary- Thank you I always enjoy seeing you at the shows and seeing what you find! And usually learn something in the process. Kevin-The scabbard is steel and looks like the type you see on the early Wingen very bulbous it’s identical to the last Voos I posted with the single oval except the tip is smaller and of course the screw configuration.

Tom, Even if you only found one dagger per year and this was the one you'd be a very lucky collector! Beyond a shadow of a doubt that's a marvelous Herr dagger in my book. Congratulations on your find and thanks for your usual outstanding snaps. All the best! Bill
