Gentlemen, I could not resist to purchase this dagger. Great polished blade with full crossgrain throughout. Not a common maker WMW - Waffenwerke Max Weyersberg, unfortunately someone cleaned the scabbard with a silver polish, happily not the dagger fittings. :-/ Of course, that can be easily fixed, but I'll leave it as it is. In ten years in my oak cabinet it will have a wonderful patina again. :-) Hanger is interesting imo. Hope you like it. Rgds; Hermann

Nice piece and you are right about uncommon. I think somewhere in the order of 1 in 100 or less.
