Hello, Why is GAU mark absent? Why scabbard has late period fittings and why grip from late period too?
Thanks.

Vladimir, the mark is there (reflex), I took another pic where you can see it but it is a little blurry. So I add a clear photograph of the mm here. The fittings are EARLY period pure nickle but as the dagger is in extraordinary condition they are shiny like later plated fittings. If you hold the dagger in hands it is clear to see. Concerning the grip, I dont think it is a special late period form and it fits the guards perfectly. Regards,

Wotan, thank you for the added photo with GAU. Now I see clearly Nm gau. Grip is really cool fit in the guards. Thanks.
