I was talking to John Z. at the SOS about Eickhorn TMs on dress bayonets, he was telling me about all the ones he had encountered and it was a lot more than I had. So when he got home he sent me some photos of his with out the CE under the squirrel. So here are some of the ones he has, a few of my own. As you can see the early 30's TMs has some interesting variations. When I receive more pictures I'll add to the list.

Here is a triple oval TM, used on export bayonets and the odd internal one.

I have two marks with the squirrel over CE on dress bayonets, a crossed arm version like the one posted by sturmbrigade and a straight arm version.

Jeff:
The seated squirrel holding sword TM is attributed to the 1935-41 timeframe.

John Z I just got a triple border Eickhorn, TM is a light stamp. Not a bad bayonet considering how hard they are to fine.

Well done Terry. I agree, not a common logo to find at all. Would love to find one on a fire or police bayonet.

I checked my double oval Polizei bayonet, sadly it doesn't have the triple border logo.
Although the standard double oval has been attributed to the period of '33-'34, can we speculate on the time period of the triple border logo? Do you guys think it would be roughly the same period as the double oval?

In Carter, this logo is described as one used on export bayonets.
I have only found it on two long KS98s, one of which I had found on e-ban. I used to own both, but could find no one who thought this mark was special in any way and finally sold my poorer copy to Tom Witmann for a ridiculously low price.
I would guess that the time period for this mark was the same as for the equivalent double oval.
There was a thread here or on WAF where Tom Johnson talks about how these various maker marks were all used concurrently based upon the produciton chief's whim, so trying to date them beyond the simplistic age sequence (back to back, single oval, double oval, seated squirrel, over shoulder squirrel) may be futile.

Yes, I did see Tom Johnson's dialogue which mentioned Eickhorn's lack of specificity with respect to the time period for their various maker marks. That said, there was definitely a corelation, perhaps a loose corelation, between time periods & particular maker marks. I definitely get Tom's drift though.
Terry's triple border bayonet definitely looks like early 3R production with the elongated diamond bakelite grips.

Hello: John Tom does not need me to say he is right , but he is... This is nothing new I have said this to people many times and it has fallen on deaf ears.. Of course certain trademarks appear at different time periods and is a great general way to date items (but not all). Just because they introduced a new trademark does not mean they stopped using the previous one or others before that.. This is a fact based on period documents also.. Regards: James

Terry:
Here is another TM... a 42 over shoulder with the word Original and a different arm configuration. Just arrived into the Great White North.
