I can read K117 on the lower crossguard. There seem to be another marking on the reverse face?

Incorrect laser etched blade, "clown nose" ball on the scabbard, a fake NPEA.

Hope this dagger is not being posted here so that the con artists can test the market for they faked artifacts.
Too many times have we seen fake daggers being pictured here in order to test their "originality", sadly, always from Russia ??????

Thank you all for the help.
Pat do not concern about my aims, I ask you only because I really know that on this site are sitting real independent experts
You are right that I'm from Russia, but do you know why in Russia you can find a lot of fakes?
It is not because that fakes are produced in Russia.
It's because people in Russia love daggers and love 3ed Reix daggers too, but we don't have enough information about the originality of daggers.
Do you know that only 10 years ago in Russia have adopted a law, according to which it is possible to collect and buy daggers and swords, before the purchase or storage of a dagger you should have been put in jail for 2 years.
People have a passionate desire to collect, but there is not enough information in the Russian language. In the United States and Europe already a great experience of detected originality daggers.
The flow of copies, which have been made for all the post-war years have rushed to us in Russia.
Who and whe created firs fake dagger? It has been happened in Russsia? No, it has been happened in Europe or USA.
I would responsible say that these fakes are being sold by people who only bring all items from Europe and USA.
I live in Moscow, and I know exactly, that in Russia the copies of such level nobody can't able do.
Many collectors have accused the USA that they flooded Russia fakes through the Ebay site.
If you go to this site, the majority of fakes sell it is in the United States and U.S. citizens.

I posted these items here, because I know that on this site are sitting real independent experts.
Best regards.

Being from/in Moscow is perhaps the reason of your unawareness regarding quality fakes from East European and former Soviet Union republics located far from Moscow.
There are some serious forgeries coming from Ukraine, not many daggers specifically, but 3rd Reich artifacts in general.
Don't fool yourself, the money that can be made is quite significant.....

Its funny no matter how hard these fakers try,, they never seem to get it right. Im sure there will be a time in the future to where these daggers we collect will be exactly reproduced down to the exact minute detail..at that time I hope not to be collecting anymore. The knowledgeable collector will always stay one step ahead.

Obviously bad but worryingly good. Its a dreadful dichotomy that by helping the good guys we are honing the skills of the bad guys to the point where 'original' will no longer have a meaning. Im glad my collection is as complete as I can afford to make it-I would hate to be starting now.
