Didn't you already buy it? I personally would have saved and bought one that did not have the issue of the blunt tip. Daggers with blade issues are difficult to sell. Blades are where the money is. Ron

You posted a link that requires a log in and one small photo. Do you really expect a lot of comments?

I tried to post other pics but I guess I don't know how to post here yet. I was given the option to purchase it or pass. At this point I did commit to it, but being my first dagger I figured the worst it could be is a lesson.
I know what you guys are saying though. I've collected other weapons for years and typically when I see someone buy a "humped" rifle or pistol I think "they should have taken time to learn about it before buying."
So I'll learn more about them here before I commit to any in the future.

Good thinking there These are way too expensive to just buy! Also, these are investments and the only way you get any good money back is buying very rare makers or excellent condition ones. Being hasty costs money and I`ve learnt the hard way, believe me!!! As to your dagger`s originality, that one little pic does look promising, however more pics would do the trick. Dion

Mossy, You didnt do to bad in my opinion, very correct and original dagger with a blade that appears to be in very nice shape except for very slight blunting that looks very minute. The price was right too! Enjoy it! Kevin.
It's ALL in the DETAILS!!.......

Welcome to a complex yet exciting collecting world. My advice buy and READ! as many books on the subject that you can afford.
If you have access to a small laptop build up a database of easily accessible pictures of genuine items and their traits so you have a handy reference when buying.
Just my penny's worth.
