This is an Eickhorn I picked up at the end of last summer. With the exception of disassembling the dagger to grind off the Rohm inscription, all screws and pommel nut appear to be unturned since the war. I love finding these in unmolested condition right out of the woodwork. They're still out there!!!

That is a beautiful ground Röhm SA dagger, Rich!

The "small serrated" version is one of the -five!- original Eickhorn Röhm version that exist. It is the one that we see the most, but that is of no importance, considered this superb condition of this piece!

Does is bears a "bench" mark?

Best regards,

Herman

Nice find Rich sorry it took me so long to reply as you must have a new camera and the Megabyte capacity must exceed the Hubble Lunar telescope. The images took about 3 days to open,,compared to the normal 1 hour 30 minutes smile ............BUT!!!!!!as usual the pics are worth it as the detail is close and exact. The crossgrain is beautiful!! Nice to see a bench mark,,,it kind of seals the deal for collectors of a total Eickhorn product. Nice!! Regards Larry......................If you can since you have this extreme maginfication....I bet you can start some great leaf fires from 10 miles away grin Great dagger!!
