Got this unmarked dagger today. Not in mint condition. Blade is tarnished. What can be used to clean it and what would the dagger in this condition be worth.
Thanks
Stan

Stan I would use Semichrome on the blade -the dagger is missing some grip wire-taking all this into consideration I would say $350 ballpark

They sell it on the sight here I just noticed one of the scabbard bands is missing so my estimate may be a bit high probably in the $250 range.

WW2:

I think that estimate is high in today's market.

At the SOS, I saw many an unmarked blade in this or better shape without the wire and the scabbard issues list for $400 or so. Even for parts, this one wouldn't get more than $200 on a good day. My opinion, of course.

John
Your right my second estimate was $250 but that was generous Smile
