I found this wonderful uniform grouping in an attic right before Christmas. The vet who brought this grouping back to the US was in the second infantry division. This grouping was given to me by his son. I have posted on other forums but thought it might be enjoyed here as well.

Thanks for posting, that is truly a "Once in a lifetime" find!
Just very stunning stuff. I am glad it is staying together!
As an SS collector myself, that is the stuff dreams are made of!

Holy Crap...I echo Jerry's sentiments and observations....that is one expensive set...do you have the owner/vet's name...with provenance that group would be pushing $20,000 or higher!!!! cheers, Ryan

Yes I have the vets name and a signed document from his son that his father brought this stuff home from the war. Also I just received his fathers WWII uniform who was in the 2nd infantry division.

Thank you for all the nice comments about the WSS uniform grouping I found. Unfortunately I am going to be force to sell it to fund a surgery that my wife needs to have done. I am hoping to sell to a collector who will keep this grouping all together intact.

Devincu,

Is your uniform for sale or has it already been sold?

Thank you and best regards,

An amazing grouping that I remember when on GHW. A set that many if not all will find in our lives. Thanks for sharing...
