hi, i have a brass ring that at one time had a silver wash
does anybody know where silver wash? can be obtained and
how to apply it. i have tried a liquid silver system which
you brush/spray on but it wears of very fast. mike

i used it on dagger parts years ago
not sure where you can get it though

This is a rub on /polish off creamy solution in a
small bottle.Used by Antique Dealers to
redo silver items or refinish the likes of
brass/copper/nickel silver.
Google "Antique Restoration Supplies"under
silver plating solutions.
There is a Company nearby in Sawston,Cambridgeshire UK
(cant remember name but I can hunt for it>
This stuff works believe me/him.
