Hello to the forum,
I am trying to discover all available information for Heinrich Wicke, SS number 6980.
I have learned that he was promoted from Standartenfuhrer to Oberfuhrer in January of 1945 and that he was at one time the Polizeiprasident of Heilbronn.
All help would be greatly appreciated.

Most SS officer records are located in the Captured German Records section of the National Archives. Absent visiting and searching yourself, you might pay a researcher to provide you with the complete file of your officer. I have used Mike Constandy at [email protected] and would not hesitate to recommend him. Copies of the SS Dienstalterlisten are available for purchase on the web and are owned by some members. This will provide you with only the basic info on Wicke including awards, dates and unit.

Hi Harvey,
During the time,April 1938 - October 1941,he was also the "Luftschutzleiter".
"The Luftschutzleiter was in 1933, the respective chief of police, in Heilbronn."
