Army collectors should appreciate this early slant. Fitted with the snub nosed 1st Pack crossguard, early makers mark, tapered tang and the typical E-Pack punch work to the upper pommel.
My thanks to Jim & Bob at Worlddaggers for this one Smile.

A fine piece indeed and has the special enhancing to the scabbard bands that you don’t see that often. Funny thing about this dagger I remember many years ago Bob outbid me on ebay on this dagger-back in the good old days when families were listing these relics on eBay

Degens,
Congratulation, it is a real beauty. The initial production Pack armies are awesome.
IMO the pommel, the crossguard eagle and the special enhanced scabbard bands are fantastic.
I have a twin of your dagger in my collection. The last time they met was in 1935. Big Grin

Degens,

Absolute stunning piece!! I have the triplet of that one, virtually identical, same everything!! Only problem with mine is that it has some damage to the blade in the way of water marks Frown
When comparing the weight of this early Pack to other daggers, it weighs a ton!!

Congrats!!

Dion
