This is a very nice example of a Clemen and Jung Justice Official's Sword...in silver as opposed to the gold wash of a Prison Official's.

I love these swords. 100x rarer than an Army sword. WKC made them and the Eickhorn was the absolute best. Thanks for sharing these are rtarely seen. Paul

Gentlemen, These are most impressive, beautiful, hilt designs! Don't know which is nicer, the silver or the gilded pattern? Thanks to all of you for posting and sharing your "Extra-Seitengewehre," a lovely treat ... Best! Bill

...and with the correct(?) knots!! Superb! Naturally the green/gold and red/gold portepees are the proper (correct) ones for each certain model. Regards,

Beautiful swords - correct me if Im wrong but these were all aluminum base with either silver of gilt wash - I know that there are repo.s made of a heavy base??

Hello Gerrit1963, first let me welcome you to the forum!
Please do not link because once the link becomes invalid whatever the reason might be, your contribution here becomes senseless. So -please- let us see your saber here in full beauty.

Based on information from current reference books i.e. Angolia "Swords of Germany" &"Edged Weaponry of the Third Reich" both the Justice and Prison swords with the large distinctive eagle pommel were only produced in aluminum with either a gilt or silver wash - this is based on the late institution i.e design/construction of this pattern when materials were being used for the war effort. It is noted in the above referenced books that "reproductions of these sabers have been expertly crafted from solid brass,.....".

Hello Gerrit1963, thank you for your effort to show us some pics of this interesting saber. I have to admit that I have the same thoughts like goldfasan. The portepee is for sure no justice one. A justice Portepee, even when faded, would have a verx distinct golden stem to be seen beneath the netting of the stem. I think what you have is a custom Portepee with reconstructed silver strands in the band. Regards,
