Genuine RZM M7/62 hj knife Friedrich Plücker Jr, Solingen-Grafrath,
The bottom Rivet near the crossguard looks suspect, Damaged maybe ?
Regards Mac 66.

I appreciate all your comments .... Another thing that caught my attention is that I do not see the diamond in the grip of the typical red bubbles, appears to have a solid red, is that right for a HJ knife original, period?

Hi Vassago.
The knife itself I think is original. But I do not like the handle rivets.
The diamond would be replaced. Scabbard was repainted in my opinion.
Best regards Oleg.

Hello Vassago,
Your HJ knife is original and the rivets appear to be fine: Plücker used these unusual rivets on his later HJ knifes (see attached picture).
But the diamond is a replacement and by removing the original one the grip plates got slightly damaged: near the corners of the cutout. As said already the scabbard has been repainted.
Best regards,
Herman

Vassago,
Your better detailed photos reveal a repro daimond replacement but not of the solid red type imo,
As Herman says the rivets are good genuine type for this maker, it was the dirt around the bottom rivet that made me wonder about them, scabbard as said is a repaint,
Here is a good solid red hj daimond which i believe to be genuine for your referance.
Regards Mac 66.

I have removed the comments by Mac66.
This is not a topic about full red diamonds!
If someone want to find out about these, there exist several topics about it.
Best regards,
Herman

This is very similar to the condition of the Youth Knives I saw in the former East Block in the 90's. The condition and the replacing of the diamond was common. They sold for $35 to $50 in the open markets.
Based on the photos, I hope the buyer did not pay more than that. The replacement diamond looks adequate to do the job for display.

That knife is mine. Thanks to my good friend Vassago by post in this forum. To say that this knife I sold a member of this forum: "jirkahj12". One question, how much could be their value or price???

Hello, I would like to also express for this theme. This gentleman bought from me this knife two years ago. I informed him that it it original piece and rarer maker for HJīs! I had nothing to hide before him! Detailed pictures of this dagger had available, and were publicly seen. This gentleman had a chance to verify this information anywhere - find out detailed informations about this dagger before he bought it. I sold it for a fixed price (I have the right to determine the price that I want - when the purchaser accepts it's his matter). I personally examined what prices are usually for these rare maker of HJīs daggers and sold it for a similar price to him. I sold this dagger publicly in a public forum! It was not secretly from hand to hand, but quite usual public sale through the forum! After two years, this gentleman decided to damaging my name, because it seems to him that the price was high for this piece. Maybe it was high, maybe not, but he accepted my price.
If I would like to buy something and I'm not sure, I find more information before I buy this thing!!
Please do not damage my name! The price which I determined is a private matter and if someone accepts it's his matter!
I know what I sell and the behavior of this gentleman offends me! If this gentleman damaging my name, I will act accordingly! I'm not going to comment further!

Still with your lies, jirka12hj.
I remember it, that this knife, do not you sold in the forum, germancombatawards.com.
You were selling another model and you said that you sold me was better and more confident. And the view has been that it has been one lie after another.
I repeat that I do not mind the money, I'd rather pay 1000 euros but it's a good piece. And after two years and I do not know anything about money, but if I want to inform people that your business is not clean.
And quiet and do not threaten me, because I've consulted with my lawyer and filed a lawsuit next to the police and before a judge

And of course the bad reputation, you created it alone. So when they asked me where I bought said it was you, so people must judge for themselves.
Also, say your people, if I've asked you, you give me back the money. I have asked you money?

all over a beat to crap $50 dagger.

Please, let these guys continue. Thanks for your comments Jim ... But passage of the seller does not recognize their mistakes. Accuses me of not only find out about its originality. When is he who must learn about the parts sold. I do not want money or anything, just to stop people selling things that are not 100% original.Well I think that we will not get anywhere. So step further comment, just one more thing, I will pursue all fake sellers and speechless.
