Hi All, New to this forum but not collecting. This may be a stupid question but does anyone use a care product on a frog to keep it nice or just leave it original and do nothing to it. I would really like to care for the leather without destroying it's history. Thank you, Bill

But collectors now a days frown on using anything!

Leather rots or dries out over time and really does needs care.
I don't have any frogs, but I have many SA/SS hangers. Renaissance Wax, called Ren Wax, is a museum quality wax that does a good job. So does shoe polish or even Johnson's floor wax.
Some want their goodies absolutely untouched, but I take my hint from museums. They do take steps to preserve.
Google Pecards before using.
