I need help with a Heer dagger witch is identfied and dated in the cross guard. Any help would be great.

Ithink it was this medal he was awarded and the bottom number is his service Heer number, can anybody help me adenify him??

Well Walt I would like to help but unfortunately this is not my area of expertise. Time was when you might have had a good response but those days long gone. Haloo.....is anybody there? Guess not!

McDivett used to (and maybe still does) advertise on this forum.

Perhaps with a service number he could come up with something from the archives? He wasn`t much help to me though!

I gave him the name rank unit and oak leaves award number for my inquiry for service records of a well documented hero all I got was "I`m sorry I can`t help you" for a complete reply. Maybe he`s having a breakdown but might be worth a shot in the dark?

Jeez...if it wasn`t for the show & tell brigade this forum would be a morgue!
