Every so often I try and replace threads that get lost or forgotten!
A few yrs ago I saw a blanket that contained some of the coolest patches put together by member of the tank corp!
This was donated to the Cleveland Grays by vet and I got pics of it when I heard about it!
All kinds of patches are on it! I must admit I never saw many of them!
Your chance to see real and tough items together frozen in time!
Hope you enjoy! I wish I knew what many are!

Just some nut busters there!
I think the coat is from Italy as some nice theater made US/Brit/Polish patches on there.
Both are stunning...just STUNNING!!

Whats nice is now I can make pics bigger and collectors will really see the good stuff!
I want collectors in future to see the kind of stuff that was floating around!

A few years ago, I attended an auction in Niles, Michigan. One of the sale items looked almost identical to this except the patches were sewn on an army overcoat rather than a blanket. It was from the estate of an Army nurse who collected the patches from many of her patients while serving overseas. As I recall, the coat sold for the $4-$5k range.
