Picked these up from the Vets grandson yesterday. This was all he could find german wise, he also had some of his grandfathers US stuff.Is the Visor Insigina for a Generals Visor. The background is green there is some mothing that is darker color. He though it would look better if he filled in the mothing with blue pen.

Wreath and cocade could be Coastal Artillery due to background color. IMO too light for Army general.

i thought about that and couldnt make up my mind. My flash lit the green pretty light, its actually a darker green

Is the background shading the only difference between the two?

I believe it is coastal artillery as well,,,background cloth is not dark enough in my opinion
