Back in the the old days collectors could find items shipped back in all kinds of containers,crates, box's, sometimes just a shipping address on a helmet!
Saw many wwi german helmets come home that way!
Anybody got pics of stuff to show or tell what they saw!
Will start off a few things from my friends collection since it seems slow!
Japanese rifle and sword shipped home in crate!
Japanese sord shipped in bamboo cointainer with papers!

I have bought a lot of items shipped home in ammo boxes, homemade boxes,etc.
Even the German, Japanese ammo boxes can be collectible. Wish I had taken pictures.
