Hi guys i picked up one of these daggers which has a wkc maker mark stamped on the reverse ive been very uncomfortable with it in the sense that my research shows conflicting info on weather wkc made any of these, ive studied alot of pics and discriptions and it really appears to be the real deal, but the doubt over powered me and i carfully took it apart. inside i have found the number 15 stamped on all seperate parts can anyone help clarify this number and the wkc. would be greatly appreaciated

Since these dagger were all hand fitted, the number keeps the parts grouped to the correct dagger. Pictures of your dagger would be helpful.

It has really been a long time since I saw a pot bellied government officials dagger. A 1960's reproduction that still ranks as one of the best, according to Mr. Stephens.

As a matter of interest, I have not looked closely at this dagger yet but I will tonight. WKC did make GO daggers, they have the same hardware as Alcoso daggers.

WKC still makes daggers.
Their modern stamp is not the same as pre-1945.
Guys can and do switch ut the blades.
I's rather not discuss weather WKC made GO's pre 1945, what I would say is even if they did they could be a difficult sell.

The scabbard of the subject GO does not have the Alcoso pattern flathead screws; the scabbard mounts that accept the suspension rings do not appear to have the Alcoso pattern inner sleeves.

I agree Barry, those same screw we see on the RAD leader scabbards!
Also, had their type of lines around the ferrel which differs greatly from the Eickhorn daggers.
