SURFING A PLAIN AMERICAN ANTIQUE AUCTION IN MINNESOTA AND THERE WAS THIS ONE LONE DAGGER IN THE WHOLE AUCTION. IT HAD SOME FAIRLY GOOD PHOTOGRAPHS SO I PLACED A BID ON IT. A WEEK LATER I RECEIVED A NOTICE I WAS THE HIGH BIDDER.

YOU JUST NEVER KNOW WHERE THESE BEAUTIES ARE GOING TO COME FROM OR TURN UP. IT IS BEAUTIFUL ALL THE WAY THROUGH.

THE WINNER WAS THE CUTLASS ON THE RIGHT IN THE THIRD PHOTOGRAPH.
I THOUGHT YOU MIGHT ENJOY THE VARIATIONS

SINCERELY

Ralph,

This is a great pattern, lots of excellent hand-finishing to these beauties, nice!

Can you please tell us how the models with the oval, grip acorns are marked, Stock?

Is the model that has the leaves with the acorns a stamped PDL?

Thanks!

BILL,
The third photograph with the two stag grips are as follows:
The one on the left has some kind of blurred stamped trade mark that I cannot make out and the one on the right has no trade mark. The blade is very bright and the etching is deep and clear.
The 4 th photograph shows the one on the left with the skinning knife to have the old WKC stamped logo with two figures on it. The skinning knife has an etched blade.
The one on the right has a lighter weight to it. It is well stamped with a heavy squirrel Eickhorn logo.

Sincerely,
HUBERTUS
