Hi pictures are not of the best quality...initially I had concerns with the blade (High center ridge) but it looks fine...just my eyes...over all dagger looks good. Nice short hanger...I do not know the conversion but value would range low $1875.00 to high $2850.00 in this condition. Cheers, Ryan

Jirika a batch of these blades were made up in the 80's. I personally was burned on one of these. A $1500 lesson in why not to buy daggers on Ebay. mad Regardless, I suspect this is one of those bad blades. Ask the seller to send you a picture of the tang. The fakes were made with a hole in the tang. If this has a hole in the tang save your $. If not look closely for signs it's been welded closed.
Hope that helps, good hunting. smile

I totally agree with Paul : Avoid to buy such items on ebay or other sites .The quality of the copies is reaching a such level of quality that it requires a high level of competence and experience to make difference between true and false item .
As frequently written in this site , only buy from well known sellers as , for exemple , T. Wittmann or Johnson or Lakesider !
Of course , this is only my opinion ,

Just my opinion. If you feel you that you can only buy pieces from well-known dealers then it’s not a hobby but an investment. For me, the hunt is the fun.

The link doesn't work anymore...

SS daggers are a minefield on a minefield! You have to be really careful when buying one. That's why I only buy from known dealers with a very good rep. Ok, maybe you pay a bit more but at the end of the day you get the real deal. JMHO.

Gruessen,

PF
