I was always reluctant to by a dagger, from another country ,, let alone 2 states away. This one I saw on Lakesidetrader (Paul Hogles) site. I can not say enough about the dagger itself, because it was everything Paul said it was,,but not only that the business transaction itself could not of gone smoother! Delivery time was as said it would be, 5 days. I expressed a concern about postal horror stories to him, and rest assured, there was none after I received my package. That too was professional! I can not say enough about the whole transaction that took place from beginning to end and the man behind it. All questions and concerns I had were answered with patience and detail. Nice to see there are some trustworthy dealers with integrity left out there. Paul Thanks again,, looking forward doing business with you again. Larry My photos are not the greatest, nor could I begin to describe, how lucky I am to have this one. All I can say is that this dagger is "Tight" top to bottom and even goes into the scabbard with that tight final "Click" sound when the lower cross guard meets the upper scabbard fitting. Sunlight could not find a way to shine through this. Great German Craftsmanship here.

Thanks again guys,, all of you!! and Paul too for making it happen! You know when your in love and it hits you like a ton of bricks!! that this is the one,, and you cant take your eyes off it. Anyone feel that way, when that one special one out of thousands, appeals to you the most? You cant think straight and you have to have it!! Im talking about daggers here . Eventually I will come down off my high, and I will go on the prowl again. Almost like carnal instinct, and hunt for another one. I would like though to dress it up with a 3pc hanger, that would be close to matching the dagger in color and patina. At least with old age this still retains its beauty. Larry
