Hello, someone can help me in telling me if it is authentic or a fake?

I believe it is real. It is an enlisted mans cap. It is made of tricot material. I am not sure what the stamp on the crown lining represents. Unfortunatly it is badly mothed and the value would be considerably less than one in good shape.

Due to condition probably top out at $295, it is an enlisted mans (or NCO)Infantry dress parade cap.
