I doubt that it's a period Justizbeamte. While the wooden grip plates look fairly well fitted to the hilt, the rivets are cockeyed & do not look period. Just MHO but I'd say someone added grip plates to a beaten up bayonet to make it a little more desirable. Nice Weimar era frog though.

Hey, I am also with Billy on this one. The rivets just do not look right. In addition, the loss of plating and the overall not so nice look does not go together with the condition of the grips. Thumbs down from me. JAN

Agree the grips are replacements probably the black plastic ones got broken and this is the only easy way to replace them.
