From the ebay pics i for sure don�t like the areas around the right eye, the nose and the teeth.
For me at least a questionable ring.

the first one shown is imo a fake.
on the second i am not sure...

The first one is 100% fake, probably plated or not even silver?, the domed eyes have a casting ring so most likely plastic. Still a step up from the usual crystal cut eyes however!
The second one worries me!, i have two in this design, one is very worn but genuine and once had green eyes (probably fitted at a later date).. My second one is a minter!, but when i see this.. It makes you think!, overall it looks good, lack of detail in areas around the skull, but has a seam mark, nice tarnishing and what appears to be patina in the inside, the die process looks clear.. I dont like the look of the Hallmarks however, the quality mark is either none existant or very faded.. The 835 does not look right neither.
A very worrying example i am sure you will agree, the quality levels just get better and better! our hobbie is in serious trouble in my opinion.

These rings are great copys,,SuperFakes for sure..
The 1st is done very nice..The red eyes and the type 'cut'
[cabochon] are spot on for the period amoung the simple rose cut too ,,and probably really glass [?]
1st ring has been out for a while,,originaing from East Europe I believe.. It was 'outed' a while ago..
2nd ring is a correction of 1st.[new mark] , but still a copy..

Ringgr��e ca. 20mm ... Ringkopf ca. 17mm breit ... ausgefallen mit roten Steinen als Augen .. diese Ringe wurden im 2. WK von einer milit�rischen Elite-Einheit getragen ... dieses St�ck ist wohl die zivile Ausfertigung nach dieser Zeit ... also nach 1945 gefertigtWaiting for the correct translation by our friend Odal, according to the seller this ring probably was manufactured right after 1945 and looking at some features probably by the same maker working over Nazi period : am I right ? If so it's almost impossible to distinguish pre-Mai 1945 specimens from post ones, isn't it ? Ric

Ric,,more than likely a bullshit story to help sell the ring!..
BUT, I have seen some enterprising handymen take old permanent dies and use them to make a new lost wax mold.
Not impossible to tell the difference!,,some need to be help in hand inspection,,this one the tell is the nose , for me this is a copy.......
