Not ok SS decal, and a dome stamp on a M42 have no date so I think that one is bad too...

My 1st inclination is no good. could be the pics, but it has strange foil metallic look to it not the powdery look I am used to. I'll look in the SS helmet book tonight, they have all the variant decals pictured.

the pictured although clear my be off from the flash also the dome stamp appears to be 1943 not 42. I believe this helmet is a reissue

Comparing it with clear photos of original and fake decals, my conclusion is that this is a bad one.
