Found this at a local gun show this past weekend and bought it from the vets nephew, this piece has one beatiful blade, it's triple etched with two blued panels, you can see where it was at one time gilted but it has worn off over time, the sheath is in excellent shape and not dried or split, the original frog is present and totally intact, even has the original tassel. I'm not sure of the pattern but it matches the Eickhorn catalog number 222 for the state of Wurttenburg. Can anyone add to what type/model/vintage this would be? Thanks and enjoy the pics.
Fritz

This sword is pictured in the Imperial Eickhorn Catalogue, Musterbuch der Waffenfabrik Carl Eickhorn.
It is pattern number 222, Wurttemberg Private Purchase Field Artillery.
The etch pattern is consistent with the number 222 sword and the dedication is as well.
