I was allways told that Klaas Heer daggers should have an asterix on the scabbard-bands. I have a Klaas dagger in my collection without this typical feature. Is it a good one?

Danny it's likely fine. I would insist that an early Klaas feature the astrix's but these later examples could have been made using other companies scabbards. Having said that, today's collectors are more and more insisting on textbook configurations.

I tend to agree with Paul on this.

I think it is a genuine enough dagger for what it is & agree with Paul. Nice accoutrements!
