they make very good shoot able copies of these ,these days. & the price ain't bad.
but finding an original like this is very nice ! most of them were destroyed post war. and very few landed into the hands of the resistance ,as intended.

I don't think I would shoot one of the reproductions either. The manufacturer advises against it. I was looking through my old ammo and found some EC 42 dated ammo to go with it, plus some EC 42 dummies to load in the chamber. The coolness factor times 3 is that the gun was made in Anderson Indiana and the ammo was made in Evansville Indiana and I live in Indiana.

I was born in the Anderson/Alexandria area and everyone worked at either Delco/Remy or Guidelamp. It seems there were a fair amount of these still surviving in the area that were "lunchbox specials".
Also, the same could be said about the Grease Guns - and I'm not talking about the automotive kind! whistle
