Anyone have any idea as to when Tom Wittman will come out with his SA book?

Siegert is way off the mark here. Not only does he fail to mention a great number of Rohm makers, he includes 2 makers (R Herder and Gottlieb Hammesfahr) that did not even make SAs, much less Rohms. Mike

So which are the correct companies producing SA honor daggers with the Röhm dedication, Sir?

Someone I know was compiling the Rohm list, hopefuly for inclusion in the SA book to be named at a later date- It would not be appropriate for me to release his info- I can say there were about 30 on the list, dont remember exactly. MJM

Guys,

A couple of comments.

First, I have just discovered and joined German Daggers. I am delighted I did, and am already impressed with the feedback.

Second, perhaps I should have been clearer. I am/was interested in both SA and SS Roehm makers. They clearly could be different.

Mike, Siegert is clearly (to me) incomplete, but he may not be wrong. For instance, I have a Boeker SS ground Roehm, that I bought from a dealer who, I believe, is 99.9% correct (nobody's perfect!) Right now, Wittmann is offering an SS Boeker ground R., and an R. Herder partial R. Also G. Hammesfahr did make SSs, although I have never seen a Hammesfahr Roehm. But maybe he made one, there's a lot I don't know, or I wouldn't have asked the question.

Keep the comments coming!

The SA and SS lists are greatly different and the SS list is much shorter.

What Mike is saying is that There were never any early SA daggers made by Boker, G. Hammesfahr, or RA Herder. Rohm or otherwise.

I had hoped sometime in the last decade but......a complex project I know. If i was to wait on that and the next instal of the carter ref. by who ever helms that this week its too late for me. I have lit the fire just no wind to fan the flame. I can say not all projects go as planned and not everyone can keep the motivation high. my dream wont see the light of print
I am sure TW will have a fix also for Ralfs errors. if he has the time. thats the key time. on the real topic at hand Rohms. enjoy a bit of what ya wont see in print. how ya been Dr. Mike!!!
