Hello,

the buckle is original, but looks heavily cleaned.

Best

A third opinion, for what it's worth: it's a known original, just not very collectable in this condition!

Best regards, Kurt

Gottlieb you have a beautiful buckle; but this is a very subjective opinion which is no better or worse than that of any others. The fact that it is an original makes it worthy to most, but not necessarily all collectors. The CONDITION standards of some are nothing more than purely subjective and should not affect your personal JOY in collecting what you like for what ever reason. IT IS A HOBBY FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!?!?!?!
P.S. Absolutely gorgeous photos, by the way! Another HOBBY????
P.P.S. In my feeble little brain your buckle was buffed by some combat Nazi keeping low and sliding around on his belly from time to time!
