interesting story here. many things these days , seem not worth dealing in ,just because of new laws (the eagle feathers).
like ivory items, if you can not prove to a fed. agent it was here in the U.S. , PRE BAN ; you're in trouble. even if your mother bought it in the 1960's. who would have saved that store receipt.

One day DVD players will be outlawed, because to "View" a movie for free or to show someone else,,, when Paypreview is already available. Whats next?..regulating sunlight?

Yes there is some scary stuff going on these days. At the college we are very aware of the SOPA and PIPA acts going on trying to regulate the internet content.
A few year ago at the MAX show they had a lawyer guy talk about the legality of owning war souvenirs, and what kinds of things could be "stolen" vs. "liberated" it was quite interesting. Fortunately, so far I have not been offered and plundered Reniors...

I wonder how fast the government will seize the new reel to reel tape that surfaced , related to J.F.K. , sighting government property ??
the guy who has it want's to sell it.
any one want to bet ?
I figure 2 weeks.
