Hello guys,

a friend of mine wants to purchase this medal. He was told that is is an original piece, but i don't know!? SS is not my area so i really can't help him, can you???

From the pictures it looks like someone just spray painted it,the ribbon does not look correct.

The T and E letters seem to be touching the outside of the grove,I believe originals they are not touching. The back ground and the letters do not seem to have the small pebble marks on them.
I would not buy that does not look good to me

also the small ring attached to the top of the medal does not appear to be beveled??

This medal is indeed a copy...you do not want to see the wide border around the medal for one thing, then you want to see a finely pebbled backround and there are other things to look for.

These medals are fairly rare and there are a good amount of copies around ranging from poor in quality to very well done.
