Found out they do....just not as big as the "Show of Shows" and the "Max"

They used to have the Great Western that encompassed many of the buildings at the OC Fairgrounds. I only went once in the late 1980s and shared a table with a local collector friend. I don't know if it is still going.

What about the Houston show? Years ago it was a huge show but I haven't heard anything about it for a while.

Yep, didn't last long there and then went to Dallas. Don't know if it's still going now or not. There is now the West Coast Historical Militaria Collectors Show at the same venue at the LA County Fairgrounds in Pomona. Only takes up one of the large buildings but still big enough to spend the day. That is unless you're looking for guns, military or otherwise as they are not allowed due to the same county law that forced the Great Western out. http://www.militariashow.com/Twice annually, next one's on May 11th and 12th.
